The Tree of Life rises again and again across cultures and centuries.

It appears as Yggdrasil in the North, the World Tree that binds the realms. In the Jewish and Christian traditions it stands in the garden as the source of wisdom and everlasting life. In Kabbalah it maps the path of the divine into the world. Among the Maya and other Mesoamerican peoples it is the great ceiba that links the underworld, the earth, and the sky. In many Indigenous and African traditions the tree is the living axis where ancestors, spirits, and the living meet.

Wherever it grows in story, the Tree of Life carries the same deep meanings: connection between worlds, the cycle of death and renewal, shelter, wisdom, and the quiet knowledge that all things are rooted in one another.
